Deidre Batchelar

Dr. Deidre Batchelar is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Computer Science, Math, Physics and Statistics at UBC Okanagan. She serves as a senior medical physicist for BC Cancer. Dr. Batchelar’s main research interests include advanced imaging in brachytherapy and high precision radiotherapy. She is interested in process efficiency and the application of novel tools to clinical brachytherapy processes to reduce the time required to safely perform these procedures, thereby improving both patient throughput and the patient’s experience during treatment.
