Juanita Crook

Dr. Juanita Crook is a tenured Professor of Radiation Oncology and holds the first UBC Research Chair in Brachytherapy. She is former President of the American Brachytherapy Society and winner of the coveted Henschke Award. Her main research interests are focused on prostate cancer and penile cancer, including optimal use of brachytherapy and investigation of the cellular mechanisms of action resulting in radiation response and resistance.
