Yiwen Xu

Dr. Yiwen Xu is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Computer Science, Math, Physics and Statistics at UBC Okanagan. Dr. Xu also serves as Medical Physicist for the BC Cancer Agency. Her research focuses are image processing for automation and cancer patient prognostic prediction with time series, image-based deep learning. Her main research interests are software algorithm design for personalized medicine and adaptive therapy. The goal of her research is to improve efficacy and safety of the patient treatment through computer-aided diagnosis, treatment selection, workflow quality assurance and outcome assessments in radiation oncology.
