Nathan Becker

Dr. Nathan Becker is the Regional Medical Physics Leader at BC Cancer in Kelowna and Adjunct Professor at UBC Okanagan. He completed his PhD at the University of Calgary and completed his residency through the University of Toronto. Dr. Becker’s research focuses on image-guided radiation therapy, quality control and automation. He has a special interest in adaptive radiation therapy and recently led the installation of a Varian Ethos unit at BC Cancer – Kelowna. The cancer unit is the first of its kind in Canada and allows for daily online adaptive radiation therapy using AI-assisted technologies.
