Christina Haston

Dr. Christina Haston is a Professor within the Department of Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics and Statistics at UBC Okanagan and is part of the Medical Physics research group. She completed her training at the Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto, the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX, and the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. After 14 years as a professor at McGill University, Dr. Haston joined UBC Okanagan in 2016. Dr. Haston’s research interest is primarily in personalized radiation oncology. She leads a research group using both mouse models and clinical data to investigate how patient-to-patient genetic differences influence radiotherapy response.
