Rebecca Feldman

Dr. Rebecca Feldman, PhD, P.ENG (APEGA) is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics and Statistics at UBC Okanagan. Dr. Feldman is a physicist and an engineer. Her research interests are in MRI technical development with translational applications to neuroimaging. She is a Junior Fellow of the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine and an inventor on two US patents. Her research has focused on MRI technical development, including the design and construction of hardware gradient inserts and RF coils for MRI. She has also created novel radio frequency pulses and pulse sequences to leverage the power of high-field MRI systems to better visualize the brain. Dr. Feldman’s current projects include a collaboration with Interior Heath, UBC Vancouver and Mount Sinai Hospital.
